I don't know about you but this Good News makes me want to WORSHIP! We, who were to be condemned, are not condemned. We, who were imprisoned, are set free. Set free in Christ by the law of the Spirit of life, freed from the law of sin and death! Such unimaginable grace! I was standing in the noose, guilty, with no power or ability to save myself, and God fulfilled the law in King Jesus! Weakened by our sinful flesh the law couldn't be kept by man. Christ, fully man, fully God, wholly other, wholly holy, condemned sin in the flesh, took the noose, paid the cost, fulfilling the law in us who are in Christ! No longer to walk in the flesh but in the spirit. No longer to walk as dead men and women but to walk in truth and Life. By His grace we have been salvaged out of, set apart, sanctified away from sin and death, and caused by His love to set our attentions on the Spirit who is life... who is peace. And so we love Him back having been forgiven so much. Knowing we have nothing to give in return we are lavished by His grace. Completely undeserving, but completely loved. PRAISE GOD. Precisely. I want to praise this King. I want to worship this God. I want to prostrate myself in humble adoration. Stretched out, face down on the floor, weeping due to the complete and unimaginable joy that the God of the universe have given me at no cost. The God who didn't have to save me at all who, not only saved me but, adopted me as a son in His royal family! As a brother to the King! Oh my.... Woe is me... speechless. Hallelujah. Jesus, thank you. Amen, Amen.
If it isn't this passage, please find one for yourself to meditate on. Bathe in the absolute wonder and majesty of He whom we worship, church. Bring the awe and wonder of Him with you Sunday as we worship together, I pray that we fall at the feet of our King, full of joy, and KNOW we are His and He is our God. May we be forever changed in the name of Christ.
Ready to worship with you all,
